All the bad thing pass. Monday my Barcelona adventure didn't start of the best way, but here I am now, with a brand new phone (and a simcard), the sun in my face and more freedom than I could ever wish for. It's funny how life works that way. You could think that nothing will ever go right for you but in the end everything balances each other out. You have to see it though. Look for it. Enjoy even the smallest of things. A sunny day, the water of the ocean, a pretty street. Life can be very simple. That's what I think I like the most about Barcelona. People live day by day. Enjoy everything they see. They are out, talking to each other, relishing good food they're tasting. People here don't need much. They don't stress about stupid things. In Holland it sometimes felt like people are trying to do as much as they can in as little time possible. Here, they just do as much as they want to do. Even if that means only getting out of bed to get breakfast.
So, to be a good citizen and adapt to the lifestyle here, that's what I'm going to do today: absolutely nothing.
